Woke up too late, between breakfast and lunch-time? Well that's the perfect opportunity for brunch! You can have so many different things for brunch, use your imagination! I did some scones today, the delicious bread that you combine with cheese and sometimes jelly. I only ate it with cheese today though.
Scones recipe:
1 bread for 1 person
2 dl/ 0,8 cup wheat flour
1 pinch salt
1 tsp baking powder
25 g butter
1 dl/ 0,4 cup milk
Turn the oven to 250 degrees C (482 F). Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl. Cut the butter into little pieces and mix it with the ingredients in the bowl with your fingers. Add milk and use a wooden fork to make a dough. Knead with your hands for a while and then make the dough to a flat circle. Lay it on a sheet with baking paper. Bake in the oven for 10 minutes. Done!
