Last day of 2011

This saturday my mum and I went out for a walk in the frost. My bulldog, Goliat, loves frost and snow so he was thrilled. The other one, Sputnik, doesn't love cold weather. He prefers summer. 

The rest of the day I spent at the mall, trying to find SOMETHING to wear tonight. No luck. But this new year will be peaceful anyway so it isn't so important what I wear. Sputnik is so afraid of the rockets, so I will spend my night calming him. Since I'm no party girl that doesn't bother me at all!

I hope all of you will have a splendid New Year's Eve and that no one gets hurt. Stay far away from the rockets everybody. See ya next year! ;)

Easy Breezy Brunch

Woke up too late, between breakfast and lunch-time? Well that's the perfect opportunity for brunch! You can have so many different things for brunch, use your imagination! I did some scones today, the delicious bread that you combine with cheese and sometimes jelly. I only ate it with cheese today though.

Scones recipe:
1 bread for 1 person

2 dl/ 0,8 cup wheat flour
1 pinch salt
1 tsp baking powder
25 g butter
1 dl/ 0,4 cup milk

Turn the oven to 250 degrees C (482 F). Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl. Cut the butter into little pieces and mix it with the ingredients in the bowl with your fingers. Add milk and use a wooden fork to make a dough. Knead with your hands for a while and then make the dough to a flat circle. Lay it on a sheet with baking paper. Bake in the oven for 10 minutes. Done!

28/12-11

Only four days left of 2011. Anybody who's nervous and don't ready for 2012 at all? I'm so ready. 2011 has not been the best year for me (not worse either though). It was a year with a lot of studying, which isn't my favorite thing! It also contained a broken heart, which luckily is cured, and me being a bit poor. But it was a year of happiness too, I laughed a lot 2011. Laughter is the best medicine.

Next year is the year I graduate from school and hopefully get a job. The year I will fill with joy and love. I will expand my plans and projects and do something useful. I really hope the year of 2012 will be my year, because I'm actually very worth it. And I hope my loved ones will have the year of their life too. I hope my mum will be able to sleep a bit better, that she will do what she want and listen to her heart. I hope my sisters education continues to go well and that she will enjoy life. I hope my boyfriend will work and give me presents, no just kidding. I hope he will be able to educate himself in science like he wants to. I hope all my friends do what they want to do with their life. Because that's what's most important.
 I don't know how many times people have told me that the things I want to do is "just dreams" and that they would never work in real life. This made me kind of quiet about my dreams and plans, and I feel it's a shame because my plans can be reality. Of course they can. So make your 2012 the year of dreaming and planning, or making your dreams come true.

Yesterday I was in town with my mum, shopping and eating lunch. It's the big sale in Sweden after Christmas. I bought two makeup-boxes (from Maybelline and Too Faced), Beyoncé's perfume Heat and some other stuff. I will probably go to town tomorrow too, for a second look.

X-mas

I hope your Christmas was lovely. Mine was great, though the christmas spririt was gone with the wind. I long for those christmases when I have my own house, and kids. Well, I had a lovely day yesterday.

We celebrated at my aunts, and we played games and ate great food! I got christmas gifts, and they were so good. I'll show you later with pictures what I got!

Pytt i panna/Hash

Many swedes are brought up with this dish. It's called Pytt i panna here, and when I translated it, it said "hash" (but I don't know 'bout that..please correct me if I'm wrong!). Well, it's a..hmm.. dish full of left-overs and it's tasty like hell! You eat it with a fried egg and beetroot.

Recipe:

1 portion

1-2 potatoes
½ paprika
½ onion
any meat

salt

pepper

paprika powder

thyme

1 egg

oil

1 tsp butter (unsalted)

Do it like this:

Shop everything to little pieces and fry in a frying pan. Fry the onion and potatoes first. Fry the egg last, and add to the dish. Eat!

Christmas Lights

I won this lantern in the christmas game when I was at Klara's. I find it very nice, and I'm so happy I won it.
